I was lucky enough to get a free table saw recently. It has a very old rubber drive belt that definitely has some flat spots in it. It probably needs replaced and I was considering a link belt since they're supposed to minimize vibrations (to be fair, there's probably more vibration sources on the saw than just the belt). Have any of you tried them? Do they seem better or worse than a traditional belt? Thanks!

I use link belts on all my lapidary grinding arbors and saws. They are easy to put on and much more quite than v belts.
