Title: What is this rock and can it it be worked?

Given to me by a girl, who found it in her yard in kansas.

Anyway, I would not do any chipping on it till I got a positive ID. It may be worth more than a chunk of slag.

If you are looking for some knappable rock for your hunting points, I have some nice "dacite" obsidian that is excellent for that- we could trade...

Idont have much trade ability at the moment due to how things are for me right now. Probably gonna be that way until after Christmas. But, if you let me know what you want for some, maybe we can work something out? If not thats ok too.
