Good day fellow Bowyeurs,
I am from South Africa and this is my first post. I have made a couple of bows, mostly for myself and friends. This build was my first ELB.
The bow is Hickory backed with multi-directional fiber glass strips and epoxy. The nocks are from a Blackwilbebees' horns that I hunted in June this year on a farm in Bethulie in the Southern Free State near the Eastern Cape. The bow is 76'' ntn, #70@28".

Braced at 6.5"

Looks like that beauty was made for
popping a salty or two.
Nice build mate.

PS Oh is the hickory from down under?

Thanks guys. I know the Hickory is imported to South Africa but I do not know from where.

Good job. I like those horn tips. What type of roof is on your home? Looks like it's made of concrete.
-
That's a nice bend in that beauty. I bet it doesn't feel like #70 at that length.
