Yeah I know you all are very busy. :)
Any way I thought I would post a
knife that my buddy made from a
blade I gave him. He did such a great
job on the moose handle, I made him
what I think is a better blade, today.

Your buddy is an excellent artist. I also like his choice of symbols. Do those symbols have any particular appeal to him besides the beauty?

Chip, yes he is.
The symbols are Egyptian.
He liked a soapstone carving I did of Horas.
Horas is the falcon.

Definitely like the second blade better. Nice flake scars.

Even with the heat treating the layering
of the glass still impeeds the flake travel
much worse than most obsidians.
I still have seventy five pounds to play with :laugh:
