both colorful rocks are about the size of a basketball 20, and 25lbs
the clovis point was not heat treated rock.

It's an ancient Chinese secret.
Take your left middle finger, place it on your spine, slowly follow your spine down your back until it reaches resistance, go 3-4 inches more, when your finger is nice and greasy smear it all over the finished point. Then hand it to your friend and watch them work that grease need into the pores of the stone as they feel the craftsmanship of the point.

Remind me not to handle those beautiful points you make......................................................
I am heading to Colorado and am wondering if you can share how or where you collected that material? Maybe I can get a little of it also. It looks like a jasper to me but no reference to it.
You can PM me...Thanks
