Title: Diamonds -n- Sage
Post by: Stringman on August 06, 2016, 09:21:29 pm: This stave had a weird bump comin out of the upper fade and it gave me no end of trouble. I finally had to quit worrying about it (as well as the string follow) since it shoots so well. Nothing special about this bow, other than the animal it's meant to kill. Time will tell if it lives up to its purpose. Wdb's from Cip, rams horn from Chuck, and braintan from beadman. Thanks for looking, and God Bless!

Yep I don't use WDB's very often but these turned out to be the right fit on this bow, especially with the coontails.

BJ, the first time I shot this bow I realized it shot the same arrows as my FG bow. This means I only need 1 set of arrows for both bows. It shoots hard and accurate so I believe it will do the job, it's just up to me now.

Nice job on the handle BTW.A nice quiet sting from a self bow might reduce the distance of the retrieving part of your hunt too.
