Folks,
This is a back split off a piece of nice Osage that "hunterbob" sent me 2 yrs. ago...The specs are 55"ntn, 51@24 or 54@25...Bottom limb had snake and roller coaster turns, made the limb look kinda wonky from the side, decide not to cook this one with a heat gun and just let it do it's thing...I have paint to put on yet and will let the recipient post that if he see's fit...This is going out to Rich "half eye" in appreciation for the scalloped Seneca replica he sent me...Thanks again Bob for the stave and Rich for the bow...

Now thats a bow!!!!

If im seeing it correctly,it seems to be a bow of same width through the grip area, for several inches and then a straight taper to the tips,is that correct? Also, its hard by the pics and video,to judge how wide and thick it is.Its kind of a weird little thing i do,to try to guess these things by the pics and see how close i am. ;)

Awesome! That is a sweet shooter.
-
Don that's a nice one!! I'm sure Half eye will love it. SHORT,BENDY,FAST.
-
very nice congrats :)
-
I like it Don . Looks like a snappy shooter. I am going to have to make some nocks like that. Can't believe it held all that reflex with no heat at all. Great job on that one don.
-
Tiller looks great. Nice work on that one.
-
Jeeesh guy's thank you for all the fine comments, makes it worth the effort for sure... :)
Traxx, Your correct, middle third 1 1/8", tapering to 5/8'' nocks...
Rich, soon as the lipstick is added she's coming to MI. sir...Glad you approve :)

Smooth tiller, nice unbraced reflex and interesting character, now thats a nice weapon. And looks exactly like what Rich likes to shoot. Nicely done Don.
-
Thanks DVS...
Thanks Greg, left it slightly positive on the top, so much going on in the lower limb...Feels balanced and pretty smooth at this point...

Looks good, Don. I like the handle to be just a tad bit stiff, like you have there. That's my idea of a "bendy" bow!

NICE!!
