I know that a lot of others have seen the post by Tracker0721 about sending obsidian flakes to a few of us lucky beginners who have mostly been working bottle bottoms. I received my box of flakes and broke the first two I tried, so I had to rethink the process because this stuff is so easy to work, but even easier to break. Today I finished my 1st point, it is 2.5 long, 1 inch wide and 1/8 thick. I really like this obsidian stuff and it looks good when you get finished. I know I have a few high spots but I was afraid that I would break the point if I tried to make it perfect. Thank you Tracker0721 for sending me the flakes, I will post more when I find time to make them.

That's a dandy :)
Humm so Tracker got you addicted to his free stuff.
Wonder what it's gonna cost you for your next fix. LOL

That is totally awesome, and so thin.

That is a fantastic point. Especially for it to be one of your early accomplishments.
Keep up the good work 8)

Looking good!

That's awesome! Great job on that! A little softer with the hits when you get to that stage really helps huh? Next up is talking to Stringman about how to sharpen one! He knows what scary sharp really is.
ZUMA! Your gonna scare away customers. Gotta be competitive in the market man. Haha just kidding, I'm about done with trading stone now. Need to keep enough to get me till next year!
