This is Thomas Archer(wife's suggestion),another paper mache archer I just completed. He's about the same size as the Eastern Woodland Hunter I made last year.
This first pic is of his kit. It includes a sword and scabbard, dagger and sheath, belt pouch, war ax, buckler shield, helmet, 6 arrows and a yew bow.

..and the archer, similar to those who were in the 100 Years War, in full regalia...

Very cool Pat, great job

Awesome!

Thanks guys. It was fun to make, just like the Eastern Woodland Hunter I made last year. For my next one I was thinking about Ishi or a NA knapper but I haven't decided that far ahead yet.

Wow, Pat! That's super work!
-
Excellent.. I love that, it's just got a lovely slightly naive look (in a good way :))
Looks like he could spring into animated life like "Wallace and Grommet"

Great work Pat, that is neat looking.
How did you make the little accesories?
-
Very cool, Pat. How tall is he?
-
Pearlie, he's about 14" tall, about the same as the Eastern Woodland Hunter I did last year and am donating to the raffle table at the Classic.
Neuse, the ax head is multi layered paper with an osage handle, The sword, scabbard, dagger, sheath, helmet and shield are multi layered paper. His belt and belt pouch are pig skin. The arrows are bamboo skewers with paper fletching and the bow is Pacific yew.
Eddie, I haven't decided if he's going to the Classic too or not.

Way cool, you are getting really good at that stuff. :)
