Title: Simple ash longbow

Here it is my last ash (European ash) bow, from a low dense stave, (with the thinnest rings I have ever seen if I don't count on yew) but with a bit of nice character on it: two knots on belly and handle area, and waves on both limbs.
It's 72" and 37'5 pounds at 29" It is less than 1"1/4 at widest (handle area) tapering to 3/8 tips.
6 strands linen string and several coats of shellac, oil and wax.

Yes, me too, Timbo. I'm mostly enjoying this kind of longbow (with a rigid handle area) and simple flatbows lately... Going back y
to simplicity ;)
