It just melts my heart when the little guy makes his way to my bow shop and says,
"Daddy. Can I sit?"
I'm old enough to know it's moments like these to treasure...
-
That's a precious picture Matt. He is growing up fast. Are you bringing the family to the Classic this year?
-
Sssssswwweeeeeeetttt
yep each moment counts
-
Hehe get em started young! I love it
-
Good to see ya making the most of your time together. Little Dan will know just about all there is to learn about making and shooting bows by the time he reaches the ripe old age of 9. ;D
-
Good on you Matt and good on weewicki for wanting to hang with the ol' man😃
-
Man, Weewicki sure has grown. Take advantage of these moments. They are gone before you know it.
-
That is so very nice.... a very lucky dad whose kid wants to be with him... a very lucky kid whose dad wants him there. What a great picture! I remember him at the classic with a pile of yellow sawdust on his head :) He is still so cute!

You can tell he really thinks his daddy is cool. They grow up so fast get caught up in other stuff hope he always thinks that way. I would say your off to a great start.👍

That is so nice to see! Jawge

And the opp to "work" with Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, etc. is special for the lil one too! Maybe because it's an environment enough different than hum-drum of daily routine experiences.
I can remember the walk through knee-high snow to Dad's shop, smell the pot belly stove burning over in the corner, hear the Blackhawk's game on radio, and always ringing in my ears, "put that tool away after you're done usin' it!"
Thanks for the picture, Matt. Brings back some memories.
-
Thanks for the comments, fellas. I'm certainly enjoying this.
-
Got to love that, yes enjoy Matt, they grow up wayyyyyyyyyyy to quick.

It's hard to believe that's the same little guy I remember sleeping in his play pen at Cloverdale! Great picture BTW, it says a lot.
-
That is awesome Matt! I'd print it and frame it. Josh

My wife thinks 2 months is too young for the boy to be in my shop. I'll sneak him in there when I'm doing something not too messy when she's gone one day.
-
Little boys are supposed to get a little messy " sawdust is man glitter" I borrowed that
-
Looks like a good time, starting to really enjoy having my daughter's out in the shop with me

I had Dan in his bouncie on my workbench at around 2 months. He used to smile when I twirled my C-Clamps open or closed. If I can find the pic, I'll post it.
-
My two oldest boys quickly grew out of working with dad, butmi still have my daughter who likes to hang out with her dad. They grow up fast.
-
I remember 3 springs ago at pappys. He was small enough to take a bath in one of those little plastic foot pans the hospital send you him with. He had room to play in there! Not now dad!
-
Treasure those moments! They grow up fast. I have my grandson now, he loves to work with me in the shop.
-
Thats awesome Matt. Love seeing that picture. By the way thanks again for the bow blank. Will B.
-
The most praiseworthy pictures are not the ones of fancy bows, but pictures like these!
-
He's grown quite a bit, Matt! Nice post.

it was always fun working in your shop listening to him jabber in his bouncer! He's growing fast
