Worked on pounding out and chewing sone sinew today, someone said how it smells like wet dog ( a smell I utterly detest), they were right and it tastes like it too, but I can at least stomach it. Sinew was from a buck I got this past year and was the first one I tried cutting the sinew out. Still have a bit more to go. Is this too fine? I wasn't sure how small I was supposed to shred it or what was commonly done by all of you more experienced than me

Also broke my white oak D bow, I stayed calm and I realized it did break right where I thought it was bending a little too much.. Thought I had this one, I am TERRible at this haha, with each broken bow I respect what you guys do even more.

It might be a little fine but it will lay smoother like that.
It looks like the bow broke along a grain line along the side.

Thanks, okay I'll take another look at it. It was right at 40@ 28, was going to call it done

Side grain is as important as back grain.
