Title: glue for take down
Post by: derrick morgan on March 09, 2016, 11:27:14 am
hey folks,

i'm looking for advice on what kind of glue to use (respectively not to use) for gluing on take down sleeves.
suggestions for glue that i can easily find in europe would be especially helpful!

btw this is the first topic i start here, so hello everybody.
pleased to have found the site (i've been watching what y'all are doing for some time now)!

Hi,  Derrick, and welcome.

You can get epoxy almost anywhere, and that is what I'd go with.

Welcome Stefan, a 2 part epoxy should work fine for the sleeves.

Glad you joined us and please post pics! So much easier for us to drool over... ;D

Not all epoxy adheres to metal, it may stick, but if you put the cheaper epoxy on metal just takes a slight jar to remove it, on flat surfaces.
