Obviously somebody shot that rabbit with a compound bow then set a wooden bow next to that carbon arrow for a photo shoot. No self respectin wooden bow would ever launch a carbon arrow.

Wabbit was doing his best 1970's Steve Martin impression!

Nice shootn' Mike. Having shot with you a few times I am not a bit surprised to see how expertly you skewered your dinner and saved all the best parts for the plate. :)

Good dinner tonight. Baked rabbit, sweet taters, & steamed broccoli. I know a wise fella who often says, "Life is good".

Aint nothing safe when you draw a bow back. I've seen it first hand.

I aim mid ship when sitting but for the eye when running. seldom hit either.

Shot 4 bunnies this season. 3 were body shots ... and they managed to hop away ... carrying my arrow with them. Unable to recover any of the three, and just one of the arrows!
Decided it was gonna be head shots, or misses. Missed several, until yesterday.

Perhaps blunts would suit you better? Can a blunt kill a rabbit?

The right blunt is killer, the wrong blunt will roll them over, never to be found quite often. Old 2 blade broad heads ground flat at the tip are probably best. It will anchor the bunny no matter the hit.

Yep, made that switch (to blunts) also.

A blunt will easily kill bunnies anywhere hit almost. They bust bones big time.My rubber blunts will penetrate soft tissue too. They will drag them along. Not hard to find.In the head as I've posted kills them instantly[bugs bunny].A 1/2" nut on the end of a shaft will do the trick too.Find your misses easily too...most times.
