Title: Isaac wrestling
Post by: iowabow on January 16, 2016, 01:52:21 pm
For those who know little Isaac from the classic....he is tall as his Dad now and is working hard on the mat.  Joe thought you might like to see an Iowa wrestler.

Thanks John for the picture.  I can tell you from experience that it is not fun to have someone with his legs in.  I wrestled two times at U of Iowa while in college and coached many years when I got out of school.  I can tell you from a coaches perspective, it is very hard to teach a wrestler how to use his legs for riding like the picture.  There has to be a preponderance of natural talent and all a coach can do is make some suggestions as to things that might make the ride even more successful.  I would have loved to coach your son.  Joe
