There are perks to getting up early.
Hunting is one of them but not the only.
When I was a paper boy the early morning
hustle of the big city was exciting.
Coal and ice was being delivered and the
clip clop of the pony cart could be heard from
around the block.
I have switched it up lately. The the crisp air,
low level light and the gratefulness of another
shot at another day.

PS the western rainbow is extreemly rare.
I have seen three this hunting season??

8) Cool! Where are you located? We have lots of rainbows, and snowbows out here, in Montana.

Hey Stick,
I live between a country road and the Shenandoah River.
Kinda funny that a city boy like John Denver sang about my
home.
I like Big Timber and the Crazy Mts. Also Big Sky along the Yellowstone from Billings to
the Little Big Horn. Not to mention Pompey's Pillar. I'd love to see the jail at Hardin.
