I think they'll kill just fine! Wish my state didn't have the regs it does on broadheads. The point was make a continuous line back to the base of the broadhead. It's a no barbs law but when I asked a GW they said the notches were a no go too. But serrations are okay? So I just make a deeper serration. Stupid.
