I wonder if a heavy hinge termination to a flute causes weakness in the point. This may be especially true if the hinges line up on both sides. Nice looking point! Just my pondering.

Yes my guess would be yes it's kinda crap in my opinion too. Just thought it looked cool wide and deep like that.

It is very close to a Crowell point...I like it.

John, nice hinge ;D ;D ;D it happens. Actually it made a nice square termination, deep and wide, looks good.

Thank you Bob. I have been reading a lot of my old post and I have to say again thanks for the past help it meant a lot to me.
