The first game featured a PA Jasper Broadspear. This game also features a broadspear but its not out of jasper this time.

If you simply wish to know the material, check out this recent article (pasvf.blogspot.com (http://pasvf.blogspot.com)) on Susquehanna's by the maker of the point above. If you do check out the article allow others to still play the game. There is a prize this time for whomever guesses correctly first!

Milk Glass or fibre optic.

I think turbo has it right

Turbo is the winner! To be exact it is chalcedony from Pennsylvania. It is a killer point, expecially considering the material. Its a proper size for the style and amazing at that considering the material. So Turbo PM me your address and I will send out your prize! I will away from the computer starting tommorow so I will send it out either monday or tuesday.

Wow, what an honor to have this wonderful point in my collection!! I'm originally from PA and love broadpoints so I will cherish this. Thanks for the contest and a PM is on the way.

.. or if this point is not the prize I'll cherish whatever I get, just re-read the thread ;)

Zuma, looks like heat treated, PA Jasper.
-
A hint--- The material is from west of the Mississippi.
It's a real hard one. here is the other side.

Looks like some of the more poor grades of Alibates Chalcedony, found in the Texas Panhandle.
-
To narrow it down a bit.
It's from California.

Raw jasper
-
I will divulge the material and location as I
don't think many folks have run across this stuff.
It's a ryholite from the Mojave desert near Barstow
California. There are tons of great cherts, jaspers and
chalcedonys out there. Some good quartz too.

I've been meaning to post a pic of the wonderful point I won from 'ghost'. Working graveyard shift has me in zombie land most of the time. In honor of him I printed out the background from his photo tutorial and tried my hand on my old iPhone. I still have to experiment w/ lighting.
He did a heck of a job knapping this and I'll proudly display it in my collection:
