I've been trying to upload it... I didn't know Mo Jam was going on and I showed up with my new Elite and got poked fun so I brought my Damon Howatt back and ended up starting my own. My work schedule ain't the greatest so it was a rush and I ended up shaving the limbs just a little to much... Met some great guys there an we all ended up having a lot of laughs! I'm ready to start my next one and hopefully have a few to show up with next year! Huge thanks to Dave, Patrick, John, Eric and anyone else who's name I forgot...

Badger, there was a sign in sheet at the pavilion. Someone may be able to chime in with some actual numbers with access to the books, although I'm sure not everyone signed in. There was quite the turn out.

Good to hear it is still going strong.

Not as many as in the past , but more younger folks which is good.
In reenacting it seems to be dieing down , but not here.

Well - I have one bow that I worked on at MOJAM that I have a few PICs of. ...alas, I've not got a FD pic yet, but I'll get one later. It is a Kids Bow made of Honey Locust, with exotic hardwood tip overlays (ebony and bocote). The bow is only 22 pounds at 18 inches and takes a bit of set right after being unstrung, but recovers well after about 15 minutes. Honey Locust is an interesting wood. It's not nearly as stiff as it's Black Locust cousin, but it does not seem to be quite as inclined to chrysal either.

He was pretty proud of his very first shot with his bow at his new target!

A couple more...
I'll put up a full draw pic as soon as he gets over his camera shyness!

My phone is still on the fritz so no pics as of yet.

I will also agree tat there was a definitely younger group of bow builders there this year. I was happy to see that. although its a small group its a very close community. I think ninty percent of people that were there showed up by Wednesday!

Eric, that's a fine looking bow.
Ya know, with all the bows you have made you are going to have to change your online handle to "More than Onebowonder"... ;)

I finally got a little time to work on the walnut reflex/deflex I started at MoJam. I got a low brace string on it and worked on getting the brace evened out. I only had about an hour to work on it but plan to put in a few more hours in the morning. Seems like it's already starting to pull out the reflex I put in just sitting at a low brace. It's disappointing but the other reflex deflex I worked did the same thing then stabilized once so much reflex pulled out. I'll post some pictures once o get done playin wig it tomorrow.
