45" juniper. 1 3/8 wide, 11/16" tips. 2 layers elk sinew. Pulls 60+ at 22 1/2 " ;D :)

Damned, you gonna hurt yourself 60+ on a shorty....you a better man than me. looks real good by the way.

thinking about taking it down a bit. Got a granddaughter here so I can't do much with a 3 year old.
-
Got it down to around 50 + sweet bow. Raining too much here so I can only shoot 5 yards.
-
Looks pretty good. Id like to see it drawn to 22" to see if the mid and outer limbs come around a bit more. What does it look like un-braced?
-
Unbraced it has about a 1/2" set. I'll try to get a pick. But when looking in the mirror they come around nice.
-
Try pulling it to 15" and locking it down. Then run a straight edge up and down the belly from grip to tip. When that gap gets smaller, mark/scrape there. The mirror is okay, but there are a lot better ways of doing it. If your bow is deflexed now you really need to get a more round tiller, or you risk a lot more set/deflex after shooting several hundred arrows from it.
-
Ok, I will and can do that. I have a stick and can lock it to 15".
Thank you .
-
I use my scraper turned on edge to check my gap. On a clean straight bow like yours you can nail that tiller just perfectly.

as you can see there is 20". The right limb has a small amount of twist in it.

22" max draw. What you think ????
-
I think it needs to bend a fuzz more from mid'ish limb to the tips. Both sides, more on the right. Keep that grip area just like that, its perfect. You can your string angle has plenty more it can come around.
-
Thank you.
I love learning new things !!!

Looking good, what Pearl said on it, but overall looking good for such a short stick. :)

She's looking pretty good. Pearlie gives good advice. I think I'd reduce the tip's width a bit though.
