Walking in the woods and saw this plant. Very fiberous. Just do not know what it is. The stem is kind of square ish with little flanges sticking off the edges.
It has small hairs on stem and leaves. Which do not irritate me. I made a small cord from the fibers which is very stout.

Wingstem it is. Is it good for anything primitive ?
