Title: hunting from a blind
Post by: 3Under on February 03, 2008, 11:16:42 pm
With the knees becoming less climbing friendly year\year, gonna to have to hunt from the ground. Would like to see pics of some stools.

                                                           Thanks  3Under

dont have nay pics. but since i hutn on the ground or stalk around i use a small 3 legged stool it has a camoflauge nylon seat. i got busted once this year sitting on my butt on the ground so i needed to be ready to shoot, a stool works good. good luck

I like a good 5 gallon bucket at times.  Gives you something to cary your stuff in and makes a good seat. You can put one of those furry toilet lid covers on it to pad it if you are so inclined.  ;) Justin

I have one of those little 3 legged folding stools, which I use inside my blind. I have an Ameristep "Outhouse" blind. It's 78" tall, and narrow, so I can shoot my 60" recurve from my knees. I just drop down on one or both knees before I shoot.

If I'm in a bull blind I relax in a lawn chair. Might as well get comfortable.
