The weather finally got nice to find the pit under the snow and sit down and break some rock. Nothing fancy and nothing broke ;D It doesn't look like it but they are both Indiana hornstone.

I'll be thinking about you cowboy on my next rock run. I'll see if I can find some of the tan variety for you to try.

Good flaking pattern, you can really see it on the tan one. That one looks like a hunter for sure.

Man I'd like to get back up in that draw but a pipe dream for me I'm sure. The farthest up I went where the creek petered out there were round rocks all in the ground but I had no time or tools to dig with. Nice memory though :'(.
