Title: Haven't Knapped in a year - This weeks Knapping - would love some feedback
Post by: Capt on February 16, 2015, 10:42:14 pm
Haven't Knapped in ages.... I was in jalisco, mexico a few months ago and visited some pyramid ruins at the base of a volcano.... guess they settled there because they harvested corn and needed Obsidian from the volcano base to make all the tools?

Well i snapped out a few pieces... would love to hear any comments or feedback?

Awesome pieces!

I recently saw a show where they discussed how some South American tribes were ATTRACTED to volcanoes for religious reasons.  How's that for an eye opener.   :o

They are nice, and the good thing about knapping is that they keep getting better.
