Title: Hickory backing
Post by: Jax666 on February 10, 2015, 07:59:32 am
I may be missing something, but I see hickory strips to use as backing of a board bow. Would that make it a laminated bow instead of a backed bow? In my area, Midwest,  hickory tends to absorb moisture. Would that make it less good for a backing too?

Question #1.... Yes and you can call them both of those

#2... No...not being on the back... But if it was on the belly then yes if it was me,but maybe some folks might not care about that as much as I do
