This piece was a challenge. It required a lot of heat to get it aligned to string it. It eventually came around and the results were a bow that's 56in tip-to-tip and 42 @28. It's my first bend through the handle which was tricky for me. It's backed with faux rattle snake. That's also the 1st beaver handle for me. I had skinned it and fleshed it last year, but hadn't used it. It turned out OK. It shoots nice and is quick for no more wood than there is. Thanks for looking. Got a few more bows to post soon. I've been busy! :)(http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w217/tennjed9/IMG_0080.jpg) (http://s177.photobucket.com/user/tennjed9/media/IMG_0080.jpg.html)(http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w217/tennjed9/IMG_0081.jpg) (http://s177.photobucket.com/user/tennjed9/media/IMG_0081.jpg.html)

Full draw pic with an arrow nocked would help to see the tiller...................56" tnt is a challenge for a 28" draw .....looks pretty good though.......

Well done. Not easy for sure. Looks great.

Nice job. tiller looks good. I like the beaver handle.
-
where did you get the faux skins?
-
I believe it was kustom king, jeff
-
Im not seeing any bendy handle Jeff, but it looks good all the same! Osage is so good to us.

PD, if I pull it back a couple more inches, I think you'd see some bend. My 7 yr old was taking the pic, so I was instructing and not quite at full draw. It was a good experience to take a questionable piece and make something out of it. Definitely helped me learn.
