I just finally got around to putting the grip on this one recently. It's another Hackberry. It is from the same tree that came from the neighborhood I live in. Pretty straight forward bow. No skins. Just a little color from stain. The tips are cocabolo and a secret tip material that I wanted to try.
64in. NON and 45@28.
The grip is leather from the same place I got all the black stuff I have passed out before. It's nice stuff to work with. Thanks for looking.

Well, if that is the best you can do, I guess it will do. After all, if perfect ain't good enough....

-
Nice one Dave :)
-
Nice bow. I love the tips.
-
Thanks guys.
Man bub. I can't get nothing by you. It is a counter top sample. I have a bunch of the stuff in a whole sample wheel of colors. I'm gonna start using it more often.
-
Looking good Dave, I like the side profile braced and the bend. I was gonna guess counter tops also on the tip material but I see bub already exposed your secret.
-
Like the secret tip material. And it's good to see more of your bows! Also, if those pics include your yard then seems ya got plenty of firewood for the ole stove!
-
Nice bow! Tips are mighty good looking.
-
Nice bow Danzn It looks like Corian? I have been wanting to try it too, I have a bunch but I couldn't get it to stick with CA. Looks awesome.
-
If it's glacier white Corian, I've got a bunch of the stuff--just looked at the kitchen and bathrooms and I would estimate about eighty square feet, including backsplashes. Don't think my wife will miss a couple of chunks here and there. Might use it as a trade item!
-
hackBerry smells great when you heat it. Nice tips.
-
I like this one! Looks like a fine hunting bow to me.
-
Very nice work. Love the tips
-
Great looking bow Dave.
-
Good looking bow Dave! What did you use to glue the corian tips with?
-
SWEET!! 8)
-
Thanks guys.
I used super glue same as always. This stuff is more like horn or plastic than marble. It is much lighter.
-
Thanks guys.

Great bow. You did a great job tillering and I really like the finish work on tips and leather

Nice tiller, and very pretty belly!

Simple and solid looking. I love hackberry.
-
Dave, another nice simple bow...my favorite kind of bow. Great to see people I know on these threads and you deserve to be here. Looking forward to shooting a few of your new toys at MoJam 2015.

-
Nice bow man! I stare at hackberry everyday but can't cut it down.
-
Thanks guys!
I can't wait for Mojam too bob. I should have a bunch of new ones by then as well. Looking forward to our night shoots.
-
Thats a really great looking bow. The tips are cool. I used to work with that secret tip stuff when I worked for the big box store with blue and red colors. You can do just about anything with it. I have a mantel clock made out of it. Really sharp looking bow.
-
Love the ones on this
-
Nice looking bow! I didn't know hackberry was good bow wood.
