Just got this Damascus knife from my good buddy Joe Dempler. The handle is deer leg bone. Its quite sharp and about 10" long o/a. Ive never seen this style of steel bladed knife before. I love it!
-
That's truly unique. Like it!

I'm with Greg, never seen one like it, but it's very cool
-
pearl
that is too cool!
I have seen a couple similar that were done with an air hammer and looked just like a knapped blade .
-
yea real cool looking....bet that is something you really need to see in person. Better bring it to those MI shoots next year so I can get a good look at them....

It surely looks knapped. Up close it has the tiny ridges present in stone. And, it slices through paper easy enough. I didn't ask Joe if he made the blade or bought it, my money says he made it somehow. Its very symmetrically hammered whoever did it.

Never seen a Damascus blade with that profile. Wish I could hold it in my hand! Very interesting! Looks like something I would make!
