Looks pretty good Bill.  You can tell you have been working hard on it by all the yellow dust on your clothes  :)

Ha, the yeller man did great work on the yeller stick!
Are you storing your bows in that large safe or is here only money?

Thanks guys .................
I'm planning on feather backing both of them.  Making six matching arrows, arm guard and tab for each.
I'm hoping to get both of them to the Classic this year with me.  Some of you guys met them at my camp this summer.

Simson, no money  :'(  just lead throwing devices..... ;D

Thanks again guys,

Looks good to me!  You'll have to bring them to my place to fling some arrows this spring.  I'm wanting to feather back a bow.

Are you going to do a different finish over the feathers?

Are you going to do a different finish over the feathers?
Clint,
Going back to what worked on the first few I did before I started to take short cuts "on the Molly"....... :(
I'm going to use the flex coat to set the feathers and then a final coat of the same.
Just got finished staining the backs of the two bows with a walnut stain and prepping the feathers tonight.
I'm going to feather back them both Saturday,
Clint.... your more than welcome to spend the day with me in the shop Saturday,  Bring something to work on and I'm sure I'll find something good to cook.  ;)
and it won't be chicken.  >:D
Might even get a little farther along on that sinew back ERC recurve I've been thinking about,   got it roughed out, and close to steaming the recurves in.
Would be great to have ya visit, hope that's enough to get you think'in about it.  Just let me know.  :)

That sounds great Bill but I have plans on spending Saturday with the family.  We are going to pick out a Christmas tree and put it up.  Thanks for the invite.  I would like to watch you put the feathers on a bow one of these days.  Maybe I'll make a bow for them and you can give me a lesson.

Totally understand Clint,  holiday time of the year is best spent with the family.   :)
We'll do that feather backed bow sometime...,I've got plenty of feathers.

Thanks Jawge,  You've got a better chance if you start with something good to begin with.  :) ;)
You've got a great site for the beginning bowyer.... I've looked at it many times. Thanks
