I need some help to id this plant. I thinking about trying to make some arrows, it's got some nice strict shoots. I want to make sure it's going to be worth the effort (http://i899.photobucket.com/albums/ac194/ssgtchad/Mobile%20Uploads/20141029_081639_zpsgjro8wwq.jpg) (http://s899.photobucket.com/user/ssgtchad/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20141029_081639_zpsgjro8wwq.jpg.html) (http://i899.photobucket.com/albums/ac194/ssgtchad/Mobile%20Uploads/20141029_081559_zpscx78x970.jpg) (http://s899.photobucket.com/user/ssgtchad/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20141029_081559_zpscx78x970.jpg.html) (http://i899.photobucket.com/albums/ac194/ssgtchad/Mobile%20Uploads/20141029_081630_zpseg63xfc1.jpg) (http://s899.photobucket.com/user/ssgtchad/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20141029_081630_zpseg63xfc1.jpg.html) Mobile%20Uploads/20141029_081559_zpscx78x970.jpg[/IMG]

Where do you live?

Dallas Texas area

I'm not familiar with plants in that area. I'd say cut a few shoots and give them a try. 3/8" on the big end is a good place to start, bundle them together and give hem about a month or so to dry. I wouldn't strip the bark either until they are dry.
