That looks great! What is the finish on it?
-
Nice. Was the handle like that or did it get heated to make for a window? Cool!

Great work. Is this what you meant when you mentioned using very thin Ipe for it's strength and more lighter wood to fill out the thickness of the limb.?
A lot of people say that they don't have luck with thin Ipe.
Pappy, click on the pics and you can see them larger in the original album..

I dont have full draw pictures. This bow was made on order and I made few photos near my workshop before shipping. Levers are not static - delicate work and triangle cross section, varnish finish. In working part of limbs Ipe have about 2,5 mm, maple core 3 mm, ash 4 mm. 2,5 - 3 mm Ipe is sufficient, more is dispensable mass. But less then 2 mm could be problems with string follow and chrysals. This black wood on handle is wenge. Handle was cut in this shape, it is centershot.

Gorgeous bow, love the curves and angles in the handle area, Great job!

Great job on a heavy colored stick, too bad we cannot see the f/d.

Lukasz, your bows are always top notch. Some of my favorites! I really like the handle work on this one. Looking forward to the full draw.
