Title: Couple lost lakes
Post by: Stringman on October 05, 2014, 06:44:30 pm
Somebody handed me a rock at MOJAM and told me to have fun with it. Can't remember what kind he said it was, but after a little heat it turned out with some nice color. The black is a sweet piece of Sonora. Ended up with a slight star dust trail right thru the middle. The Folsom was a challenge I didn't really enjoy.

Scott, real nice and man I like how ya left the cortex and the reddish brown on the Sonora. Gotta love the gold dust in the Sonora also. Bob

Yes sir that Senora dove is out of sight.
The other dove could be Flint Ridge?

Eddie and Zuma, it could be flint ridge but I have no way of knowin. Either way, it worked nice and took heat well. Wish I had more.

Bob, I tried to keep as much of the color as possible, but it was just not in the cards. Still pleased with it, though.
