Title: The Archer (watercolor painting)
Post by: DirtyDan on August 13, 2014, 09:22:29 pm
Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but I thought you might like to see a painting I did of one of my primitive archery friends.  It is a watercolor 22x 30.

Dan, that is really good. I'm going to move it to the Campfire so more people can enjoy it.

Thanks, everyone.  Yes, Pappy, that is Mr. Arthur Anglin.  He and Dorothy have been to Twin Oaks several times.  They are great folks.  They both shoot primitive bows and go to many shoots around the Southeast.

Yep, I knew that was him, very cool couple, I think they travel with a guy named Brad, also a very cool guy. :) They didn't make the Classic this year ,disapointed I didn't get to visit them, they usually stay until the Monday after so I get some time with them on Sunday evening/night. Great picture. :)
