Title: Benedikt's "White Tip", 38#@28"
Post by: Benedikt on July 15, 2014, 03:17:08 pm
Currently its bowbuliding time in my workshop ..... 8)

Data:
Wood: Black locust (what else... ::) )
Lengt: 65"
Drawweight:38#@28"
Set:1 1/2"
Weight: 480g

Just a simply flatbow....
When I notched in the notch, a little piece of grenadill aborted, so I glued on some camel bone, which was eponymic ;D
 Enjoy :)

I can't figure out where your string follow comes from man. The tiller looks spot on and I know from experience that BL with sapwood works with a good enough stave. Finish work tells a tale of fine craftsmanship. Do you induce it? Is your BL low-density?

Beautiful work regardless; I especially like those overlays ;D
