Amazing work Kamil!!!

That's a very good looking bow. Just a bit curious, what was wrong with the wood?
-
i think he mean the little wave on the left limb;)

Yeah maybe, but I got the impression that he sinewed it because he thought it wouldn't hold up otherwise. I don't know, just curious is all. It's entirely possible that I misinterpreted his post.
Anyway, that's some good looking finish work. I like the two-tone look.

I dont know how one could think hickory wont stand the stress, i have some test piece of hickory (roghly shaped bow) and i can bend the limb i one place almost 90 degrees and only few splinters appeared, but still almost whole thikness of wood is in one piece, just bent. I was amazed about the characteristics of this wood. I dont even see the possibility of breaking properly designed hickory bow... but i can be wrong since ive made only 3 hickory selfbows...

I agree, which is why I was curious. Hickory is about as tough as they come.
-
Even more so it has kinda light draw weight
-
That looks great
-
Hi i write that wood doesnt be very good because
stave at start have 1inch deflex.have 3 place after knot and one arm doesnt be ideal curve.
-
Regardless of how it started out, it certainly looks incredible now! What a beautiful bow!
-
Looks good kamil! I'm seeing good tiller and profile.

Very nice sinew backed hickory. 8)
-
That looks pretty sweet to me. Nice job.
-
Very nicely done. Jawge
-
Excellent! I love the unbraced profile. It's almost the exact inverse of the braced!
-
That looks really nice. I like the reflex when unbraced.
-
Great job man.
-
Fanks for all good works, :)
I make thys bow special for july bow of the month conquest
-
Super bow. :)
I'm interested in your sinewing technique. Did you heat the stave into all that reflex before sinewing or did you semi tiller it first then reverse brace and sinew it?
How long did you let the sinew dry?
Oh and what''s the humidity like where you live?
-
I heat a 5 inch reflex before sinew. i dont semi tiller. i start tillering after sinew full dry. sinew dry 2 months in house temperature.
-
Looks good to me...sinew jobs are a messy undertaking...yours looks crisp and clean.
-
Very nice work. Should be a screamer. :)

how much does your arrow weigh,, ok I think I understand ,, it weighs about 12 grams,, 500 grains,, nice shooting ,,
-
Beautiful Bow!
That's a lot of work to put into a ~35# bow. Were you intending for such a low draw weight?
-
arrow in film 380 grain, 24,5 gram
11,2 grain on lbs
-
Very nice, and fast for a light bow. I done an Osage bow that is 34lbs and sinew backed. My first bow and not nearly as fast but nice to shoot. Patrick
-
Man that's awesome I love to see hickory hold that much reflex
-
That's a beautiful bow. How did you seal the back?
-
sinew be painting with natural varnish with glue
-
Sweet bow! Looks great! Nice work!
