Title: Father's Day weekend
Post by: mullet on June 15, 2014, 05:41:24 pm
Got in a chippin' mood this weekend when Elijah came over Saturday. EJ made a nice Serrated Dalton out of some gnarly Flint River Coastal Plains. I started off breaking two while playing with some Ob's then got a little triangle point and a little longer one with a cool orangeish flame look. Then I got at it this morning with a Flint Ridge Dalton and a Keokuk point that will find it's way on a shaft. And the Daughter surprised me with a cooler full of oysters for father's Day.

Thank you, Gentleman. I love some oysters, but you could sure tell these weren't from Apalachicola Bay.

Man I had a blast that was a good time. I'm actually surprised that we actually got a few points usually we just sit there, drink beer and break stuff. Can't wait to do it again !

Uh not sure to say anything about the oysters they are one of my favorites.. I had a luck B day surprise this year with about 5 dozen awesome oysters but no oyster knife.. well would u know u do what u have to to get in them babies.. A flat screw driver works great..I was going to cut out a thin piece of steel and grind a blade in shape but it all worked out!lol  Nice looking points very colorful rock on the Dalton!

Glad you guys had a blast.
And now the secret is out about using

Kudos to your daughter Eddie.
