Title: Osage and canebreaks
Post by: Stringman on June 08, 2014, 06:34:25 pm: This is a bow I was working on at the classic. I didn't hit it very hard, but I did flip the tips and do a little scraping between pit sessions. Once I got back home, I eventually found the right motivation to get it finished up. Chris helped with the tiller, Eddie supplied the skin, and the rat fur came from Greg. (Thanks guys!) Lastly, I added bocote tips and made a FF string. The whole thing has about 6 coats of spar urethane sealer on it.

The stats: 68" ttt, 50#@28". 1 1/2" at the fades to 1/2" at the tips. Very smooth and fun to shoot!
