This is the top limb of my new bow. I'm not sure that I did this knot right. Can anyone see how it should be done differently? Maybe a little narrower below the knot?
Thanks
Don

The best advice I can give you is that you may want to post a pic so the people that can actually help will be able to help. ;D

I think u did a fine job.

One of the problems I faced was that Ocean Spray is almost grainless. It's near impossible to see a definite grain. It's more an impression of grain than anything else.

looks fine to me as well. Oceanspray is tough stuff.

OK thanks guys. It just looked a little asymmetrical/straight sided and I thought I could have done it different. One of my hobbies is bonsai so you would think I would like asymmetry but this just looked funny to me.

You did a fine job wit that knot. Probably just how I would do it myself.
If anything, you may want to consider narrowing the tips themselves. How wide is the limb 1" below the string groove? There is really no need to go wider than ½" and even 3/8" is achievable, as long as you have enough thickness.

They're 5/8" wide. Next bow will be narrower! Thanks!
