Looks like there's some character bows hiding in there somewhere. Nice stash.

I would love to have one, just anyone no one else wants, I was a middle child and am use to taking what is left over.  ;) ;D ;D ;D Someone ask me why I am always working on nasty/grarly staves, I say cause the guys at TwinOaks have already taken and picked over all the good stuff, I have gotten smarter over the years, now I hide it or write PAPPY on it in big letters. ;) :)

I'm a youngest... so I'm used to hand me downs. So I'll have the one that Pappy has finished with  ;)
It will be great for me to see some of the different woods you guys have over there, and how you use 'em especially the short bow styles.
I've booked my airport parking at this and and got my bow making drainpipe all ready to go

That's a really nice stave. Are you sure it's mesquite? It looks like cedar.

Everything about that log says juniper to me.  The sniff test will tell the story though.  If you lightly sand it and smell the wood it'll either smell like...well...cedar or it will make you hungry for pit BBQ.  LOL!  Either way, back it and make a bow.  Josh
