Title: WTT- Secrets of the Omaha Bow
Post by: tunes on March 29, 2014, 02:58:15 pm
Want to trade // Secrets of the Omaha Bow by William Vonderhey
Book is in good condition with a bit of dis-coloring on the front cover.

I'd like to trade it for 2 or 3 nice Osage staves or a nice Yew stave
nice and straight, no character wood please.

thanks,

tunes

This book has the best description on correcting twists and bends of any book I know. Not only a description but drawings to back it up.
I believe it has been out of print for quite a while and would be quite expensive to buy. I got my copy from my mother-in-law one Christmas years ago and it is a valued part of my archery library.   also, there is a very cool hickory bow in the back of the book that everyone should see.

Thanks Pat,

It is indeed out of print, pricey and a good reference. I somehow came up with 2 of them on my bookshelf and figure it would be easier for a fella to trade into it than buy it outright.
