The mailman brought me something special today. Let me start by saying don't let Pearly build ya a bow! That baztard will make you something that will shoot the nocks off your arrows as you can see from the first picture. That was the first arrow I released out of my new bow from Chris at 21 yards and the second arrow hit the nock of the first. ;D
Have a look at Chris' bow building skill in these pictures. 63 inches of hard hitting osage, 51# @ 26" and sends the arrows down range in a flash. This sucker is polished, shapely and smooth. I expected something top notch coming from you Chris and this bow most certainly is that and more. I was grinning ear to ear shooting it in the yard today.
Love everything about it. Heres what she looks like;

and a few more, had to take the full draws pics with the self timer so sorry for the poor quality photography.

I suppose it will do until something better comes along. Good thing that bow will last a long time, eh?

Im glad you like it my friend. That is a sister stave to that bow I posted with yours and Dave's in the 3-some post. It had 180 twist at one time to. Not no mo! Even the kinks in the upper limbs match. We can compare the 2 in Marshall.

I think you got the raw end of the deal, man. You should have just kept your sweet bow, instead of trading for that piece of poo. Chris... you should be ashamed, passing off junk like that. 8)

Yeah guys Chris makes a smokin' hot bow. Been lucky enough to get a few fine osage bows from three of the best on this site in the past year. Right now hanging front and center on the bow rack are osage beauties from Cody, Paul & Chris. Looking forward to taking these to some shoots come spring. I am indeed lucky. :)
-
Congrats on a sweet bow! Look like you both did each other justice. Hopefully we can get together soon so I can shoot that thing.
