a fella come to the house with a piece of osage that looked like it was a hotdog in a bun asked me if I could get him something wild looking out of it a longbow recurve sort of thing.well i got the grown over piece out and it had no rings to work with and was as week as pine. it is 63" pulls 30# @28"it will make a wallhanger and that's what he wanted so here it is.

Ohma2, really well done, sir. I have made a few staves that had different limb shapes, and they were really quick for their weight.....so I'm curious about your impressions of it's cast even @ 30#, I'll bet it shoots pretty flat. Again very nicely done

Why did you only recurve the bottom tip?

That's one crazy looking bow my friend! Good job!

Thanks guys, the bow wasnt meant to be a shooter.friend just wanted to have something different to put in his man cave.the bow does shoot a average0 speed for a 35# bow but I didnt push it as it is what it is a wallhanger.
