Title: Fletching tapered shafts
Post by: UserNameTaken on March 05, 2014, 11:28:21 pm
Do fletching jigs work with tapered shafts? I've never used one, so I have no idea.

Yes they do. You may have to use rubber bands to hold the clamp down on the ends. I use an old Eastern Fletching jig to do my tapered shafts, and use the rubber bands. Takes a bit more time, but in the end works great..

My JoJan Multifletch works fine on tapered shafts.

Thanks, I won't worry about it then. Now I just have to decide on which jig to buy.
