That sure would be justification for it!  Man, that is a cool video.  At least he has proof of it!  Yeah, he could have definitely been in danger of being stomped, or poked, or both and more!  I don't think he made the shot, if so, it was a poor shot!  I hope he didn't, unless he got a good quartering away, shot, or a good broad side shot.  Which I doubt the Elk gave him.

Cool video, I bet he let down and never had a clean shot. That's why we bow hunt, the adrenalin rush that  he got was priceless. Killing that Elk would have just been the icing on the cake. That would have been a successful hunt for me.

He was probably in too much of a hurry to change his pants to take a shot. ;)
