I decided to spruce up the bow I made for my brother. Since I'm wrapping the handle in squirrel fur and adding tail silencers on the string, I figured this would be appropriate. I'm not an artist and I traced it, but I think it came out alright. It's on the upper limb.
Let me know what you think. I'll be adding pics of the handle wrap and silencers when finished. The hide is almost ready for the wrap, so hopefully this week sometime.

Nothing wrong with tracing. Looks good to me. I sometimes trace or transfer my own drawings once I've worked out the scale and composition. In leathercraft, and many other such persuits ,nearly everything is taken from paterns drawn by others. Looking forward to seeing the finished results.

Love it. Squirrels are some of my favorite critters to watch, hunt, and eat. Nothing wrong with a themed bow.

Finally able to get a little work done on it with my schedule really filling up recently. Hope to get it done in the next week or so, but with the weather acting the way it is, who knows!

No "attempt" there . . . that's a real decoration. I know - I've seen um!
