Title: bamboo flooring laminations?????
Post by: stringstretcher on December 17, 2007, 06:15:36 pm
What is the main difference in making a bow from bamboo flooring with all verticle or all edge grain flooring.  And is there a big difference in using parallel lams or tapered lams?

I like the verticle flooring .I've only used it as a core  for a couple of horn bows. But it worked very well. The way it's glued up there were no butt joints in the board and it was all power fibers.
I used a piece for the core of this bow.
