Title: working on a bow. didn't plan on adding a stabalizer socket

Turns out that bow making is so addictive i just can't give it up!  I decided to add the risor after glue up,when removing my C-clamp this happened. :P

Just thought id share this as it made me laugh. iv'e removed it, and will continue shaping and tillering later on. Dont worry there is no F!%£&^(@$S on this bow  ;D

too bad it wasn't on the back - you would have had an insert ready to go.  Looks like a trilam - what are the woods?

Yep tri lam. From back to belly.  Hickory.  Walnut.  Cherry. Except the walnut core tapers and ends half way through the limb. The risor Iis mahogany.
