Title: Some Bubby rocks and more.
Post by: cowboy on November 25, 2013, 06:15:53 pm
Did a little knapping in doors due to inclement weather. Bub sent me a bunch of his exotic slabs - here's some picture jasper, polka dot, mook and palm bog. Have other mookaite, horse creek, mystery rock, pappyite, and one from Patrick - maybe from Kansas?

It was Bub. I thought it was a pretty close match to some of that dry horse creek " some of its slick". I'm not a big fan of it but if that's all I had am sure would get really good at it. The black part works a lot better.

Really nice as usual...I can see that your flake scars are perfect as well. Gotta display case for them? if not I know someone that does.

Thanks all! Get kinda bored with flat grey tx rock all the time so the colors are pleasant to look at. Pappy: don't let em fool ya, that rock from your creek deffinantly improves with some heat!
Alright Patrick: Kay county?

Paul, I do not know.  I scrounge everything so fast that I hardly look at it any more.   ;D  Glad it worked out.  By the way, which one is mine?  (not kidding) :-[

Beautiful stuff as usual, m'friend!
