Title: Been busy this week ( pic of brain tanned squirrel added)

Well i decide to spruce up my den area this week so i took some furs that wasnt suitable for tha fur auction from last year and some squirrel tails from this past week and hung them on the wall. Then tried my hand at some squirrel taxidermy that turned out ok. I also built a log three tiered corner shelving unit. And i been working on my x-mas trade project. Tonight i will be brain tanning a squirrel hide hair on. The pic of the one tail is from a fox squirrel i killed today. Thing was so big the wife thought it was a groundhog lol.

How'd the brain tan squirrel turn out? Ive thought about doing that myself.

It came out good i had to brain it twice. Its a real soft and supple hide now

Heres a few pics of the squirrel hide its not quite as supple as i want it so i will try some neatsfoot oil and working it again. But overall im happy with it.
